Precatory letter by which it was declared that Margarida da Esperança endowed Maria Freire and Bernardo Toscano de Vasconcelos with all her movable and immovable goods, with the obligation to celebrate masses in the Church of the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. These immovable goods were composed of a vegetable garden and lands in Rio Maior, and lands in Alcanede, in the outskirts of Santarém. Most of these properties were alienated by the administrator Bernardo Toscano de Vasconcelos and he did not deliver the account of the administration since the institutor's death. In this sense, the provedor das capelas required a precatory letter in order to arrest these properties and to obligate the administrator to deliver the account of the administration.
