Annexation and appointment deed

Annexation and appointment deed made by Luís Arnault, attorney of padre João Rodrigues Subtil, abade in the monastery of Santa Maria de Vila Fria, annexing a land to the chapel founded by Pedro Fernandes Subtil, brother of João, as the revenue from the entailed assets were not enought to cover the expenses with the perpetual obligation of twenty masses, imposing, henceforth, one more mass for his own soul. He also appointed padre Domingos de Torres to succeed him on the administration, for the gratitude he owed to him.

Over all these assets he imposed the clauses of perpetual indivisibility. To administrate this entail, he named his brother padre João Rodrigues Subtil, with the condition that he would appoint a successor with the same conditions.
