Will (extract) by which Lopo Afonso Cardim establishes a chapel in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, entailing to it his houses in Rua das Esteiras. He appoints his daughter, Isabel Cardim, as his successor and first administrator, with the obligation of three masses in the chapel of Sta. Isabel, where he and his wife are buried. At the time of Isabel's death, the entail shall be bequeathed to her brothers, and after their deaths to Lopo's eldest grandchild, and their successors thereafter. If their lineage is extinguished, the houses shall be bequeathed to the confraria dos mercadores of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, of which Lopo Afonso is a member.
