Will

Will made by Simão de Sampaio, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail with a perpetual pious obligation of one trinitary of masses and four more masses celebrated every year on the church of the Misericórdia of Nisa. To administrate it he named his nephew, António de Sampaio, son of Gonçalo Martins de Sampaio, during his lifetime, and, after his death, the succession should continue on his descendants. If he had no descendants, the administration would be handled to his nephew Diogo, with the condition that he would became a clergyman, and, after his death, he would handle the administration to Trindade, niece of the institutor, or her sister Catarina.
