Acórdão em relação which opposed the plaintiff Procurador da Coroa against several defendants, in which is included Diogo de Sampaio de Melo and other ones that are not nominated, ordering them to deliver to the Procurador da Coroa the chapel's administration since that they don't show the administration letter. The chapel belongs from now on to the crown. This chapel is attached to the chapel of Maria Eanes.

He must fulfill the pious obligations, register this acórdão and tombo in the book of the Capelas da Coroa of the Torre do Tombo, must have a ledger and since the institutor his buried in the church of Madalena in Lisbon the defendant must put an inscription of this chapel near the inscription of the chapel of Maria Eanes, which is attached to this one.

The queen D. Leonor had donated these two chapels to the late João Machado, grandfather of the above Diogo de Melo, and to his descendants, but after his death a court sentence ordered that the administration should belong to the Crown. This grace is for Diogo de Melo's lifetime regardless the court sentence.

The beneficiary had received an habit of the Order of Christ with an attached pension worth 30.000 réis, so the chapel's administration was given under the condition of conveying a pension worth 20.000 réis to D. Beatriz and D. Leonor Martins, daughters of the late Diogo de Melo de Sampaio.
