Certificate of a dowry deed (extract) in which João Domingues Borralho, states that if the heir to the chapel dies, the succession should be made to the founder's grandchildren, children of the deceased, preferring to the founder's children.
Contains the note of having been registered in the books of the Provedoria of Elvas on 1695-09-13.

Dowry deed

Dowry deed for the marriage of Luís Borralho Godinho, son of João Domingues Borralho, to Margarida Freire da Vide, daughter of Maria Freire da Vide. Maria Freire is represented by Afonso Martins da Vide, her son. The dowry assets include a third of the assets of João Domingues Borralho and Inês Alcoforado, his now deceased wife, given in the form of an entail. The bride and groom would be the first administrators, and after their deaths, they would be left to their eldest son.

Will (extract)

Will (extract) of priest Álvaro Martins Freire. He appoints Catarina Freire, his sister, heir to all his assets. After her death, the assets were to pass to her children, Luís Lobo de Quintal and to Pedro de Quintal Lobo after the former's death. After the death of the second, the assets would be attached to the entail instituted by João Domingues Borralho and Leonor Alcoforado, his grandparents, increasing the pious charges celebrated.
