Administration record issued by the Juiz de Fora and Provedor dos Resíduos of Ponta Delgada, on behalf of Martinho da Costa Chaves confirming him on the administration of the entail founded by padre Diogo de Chaves, after he pledge an oath and declared that the entail foundation deed was lost and unknown, but that the entail had a perpetual mass obligation of five masses celebrated every year and that he had presented accounts of the administration since 1664. Martinho da Costa Chaves required this document in order to make it valid as the entail foundation deed.
