Petition signed by D. Manuel de Ataíde, on behalf of his minor sons D. João de Ataíde e Sousa and Ângela de Vilhena, and Francisco Correia, his wife Ana da Silva, and their minor sons António Correia and Maria da Silva, asking for the confirmation of the contract and bond deed that settled a judicial dispute they had over 27 years regarding the administration of the entail founded by Rodrigo Afonso de Atouguia, whose head was the lease (prazo) of Belas. The bond deed now included their their minor sons who would sign and promise under oath that they and their descendants agreed with the conditions and clauses of the previous composition deed, swearing to never change or appeal for their change, regardless of the Ordenações do Reino, book 3, title 83.
