Beatriz Francisca de Lima e Barros, widow of João de Barros Cardoso, administrator of the entail founded by Cristóvão de Barros Cardoso, ordering that an entailed sugar mill and other properties in Baía that were unlawfully sold by her husband to Nicolau Alves Figueira should be again seized, regardless of any appeal made by Nicolau Alves Figueira, who avoided the first seizure order, issued in 1676, after presenting a motion. The assets should remain on her possession until the final decision was issued on the litigation.
