Tombo (extract) of the chapels of the monastery of Santo Elói of Lisboa, regarding the chapel established by D. Leonor de Miranda, who died in 1568 in Cartaxo. She was temporarily buried in the convent of S. Francisco of that town, and was transfered to the church of S. Bartolomeu of Lisboa, to the chapel of her husband, António da Fonseca, which had been established by his father, João da Fonseca. She bequeathed part of her third part to her son, Diogo da Fonseca, under the condition that he would establish a daily mass for her soul in the monastery of Santo Elói, which he did. He was succeded in the administration of the chapel by his wife, D. Madalena de Vilhena, daughter of António Soutelo and D. Inês de Vilhena. She married Francisco da Silva, secretário of the Universidade de Coimbra. Their son, João da Silva de Castro, succeded her, and requested the subrrogation of the obligations to a property in Coimbra, since the masses of this chapel were being prayed in the college of that city. This request was accepted.
