Will made by Manuel Marques Tavares, in which he mentioned that Afonso Raposo bequeathed two watermills to Gregório Tavares, son of the institutor, with a perpetual mass obligation of twenty masses celebrated every year, and that he thereby ordered the foundation of an entail, composed of those watermills and other assets over which he imposed a perpetual pious obligation of more twenty masses celebrated every year for his own soul. The institutor named his wife Catarina da Silveira as first administrator of this entail during her lifetime and, after her death, she would be succeeded by their grandson Manuel Tavares and from there on the succession should continue on his descendants.
