Will of Manuel Vaz da Ponte appointing João da Ponte, his son, as administrator of the entail founded by Padre Gaspar da Ponte Cabreira, his brother, to his mentioned nephew. The testator also describes all the assets os his other son, Padre Domingos Curvo, belonging to the chapels and entails he owns, namely the chapels of Inês Vaz, Padre Manuel Vaz Chapado, Padre Baltasar da Ponte and others, in which will succeed João da Ponte, his brother, because he is a male son. Manuel Vaz da Ponte describes too all the assets belonging to the entail of João da Ponte, including the properties received from his uncle Vasco Rodrigues and Fernando Rodrigues.
Will approved in 1653-05-16 and opened in 1653-06-18.
