Will made by Cosma Fernandes, in which she bequeathed a portion of a farm she inherited from her deceased husband, Henrique Mendes, to Sebastião Lopes, an enslaved man that belonged to João de Fontes, thereby establishing a chapel with the condition that he and his descendants would be obliged to order the celebration of two masses in every year for the salvation of her soul. João Fontes was present and consented that Sebastião administered the chapel and bequeath it to his wife and children, since he was married.
