João do Hospital, left houses in Sardoal to Catarina Parada with the obligation that she and her successors supported the celebration of 2 annual masses for his soul in the altar of S. Pedro of the church of Nossa Senhora da Caridade of Sardoal. Catarina would be succeeded by one of her children. If she left no descendants, the entail would be transmitted to her brother, Rodrigo, or to his offspring. The testator left all his remaining assets to the Ordem de S. João. He declared that if he died in Lisboa, his body would be buried alongside his brother's remains in the church of S. Brás. If he died in Sardoal, his corpse would be deposited in the altar of S.
