He associated pious obligations to it, which had to be fulfilled in the monastery of Santo António, where his body would be buried. His wife Isabel would be the first administrator, being succeeded by his son Manuel Teles and his descendants. If his son died without leaving heirs, the entail would pass to the eldest son of his cousin Diogo de Sousa, o Galego.
