Will (extract) through which Mateus de Araújo and Isabel Luís, his wife, designate one another to inherit their patrimony and establish that, after the death of one of them, the surviving member of the couple should support the celebration of a daily mass and 4 annual masses in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa. They determine that the entail's first administrator has the obligation to appoint a successor at the time of his/her death. Furthermore, the testators declare that any movable assets should be sold and the sale's profit used to buy properties to entail to the chapel. Isabel Luís indicates that she has a daughter of a previous marriage, Maria da Conceição, Simão Correia's wife, and that she must inherit part of her patrimony.
