Will (extract) by which Vicente Nunes Brandão bequeaths houses in Lisboa to Joana Batista, his sister, determining that her and her successors should celebrate 40 masses each year for his soul in the church of Santa Maria Madalena. He also leaves her other houses in Rua de Valverde with the obligation of spending 1 000 réis of its revenues in the celebration of annual masses in that church. Furthermore, the testator donates houses in Rua dos Fornos to the priests of that church, asking them to celebrate a weekly mass for his soul perpetually.
