Will (extract) by which Isabel Gonçalves bequeathed houses on Rua de Gaspar Bena, in Lisboa, to her son-in-law, Francisco Ribeiro, with the obligation of supporting the celebration of masses, every All Saints' Day, in the church of her parish and other annual masses for Gonçalo Eanes' soul in the church of S. Julião. If her son-in-law died without leaving descendants, the entail would be given to one of her relatives.
She also left a rent (foro) in houses in Portas da Cruz, Alfama, to her daughter, Maria Dias. After her death, it would be transmitted to one of her children or, if she died without leaving offspring, to one of her relatives. The testator bequeathed another rent (foro) in houses on Rua do Espírito Santo and a rent (foro) in houses on Rua dos Pastéis to her daughter, obligating her to to support the celebration of annual masses during Lent. She was free to leave it to whomever she chose, even if he/she was not her relative.

Nota ao elemento "Scope and content" - Embora não se indique na verba de testamento qual a igreja paroquial em que a instituidora queria que fossem celebradas algumas das missas perpétuas, deverá ser a de Nossa Senhora do Loreto, dado que, no século XVIII, as obrigações pias da capela eram aí cumpridas.
