Will (extract) by which João Moniz bequeaths all his assets, including a public debt instrument of 50 000 réis, to his brother, Febo Moniz, ordering him to support the celebration of a daily mass in the chapel of Piedade of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa. After his death, the chapel should be inherited by his eldest male child or, if Febo Moniz has no children, by his closest relative.
