Will (extract) of Isabel Teixeira stating that she and her husband Álvaro da Mata Leitão had established a chapel, dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Graça, in the church of São Bento de Xabregas, through the conclusion of a contract with its priests. Since Álvaro da Mata Leitão empowered her in his will to manage their chapel and to appoint its administrator, she included two farms in the chapel, located in Palhavã, and the remainder of a public debt instrument in Casa da Índia, for the fulfillment of pious charges, to be administrated by Brás Coelho, her nephew, with the power to appoint the next administrator, among the members of the generations of Isabel Teixeira and her father Diogo de Palma.
