Contains undated petition in which he explains this casal had previously been owned by his sister, D. Joana de Noronha, also as a guarantee of her dowry. Their father, Álvaro da Cunha, had previously designated her as administrator of the chapel, but had revoked that appointment and chosen Jorge de Melo as his successor.
