Scope and content
Codicil by which Doutor Carlos Brandão Pereira confirms the will he and his wife had issued, determining that during her life she could live in the houses which were incorporated in the entail they had established. If Francisco Freire decided to expel his mother from those houses, the third part of the testator's assets would be delivered to her. He encouraged his son to try to obtain a comenda from the King, since Doutor Carlos had served him accordingly. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1625-03-03 and an opening deed issued on 1625-03-04.
