Contract and bond deed by which the friars of the convent of S. Domingos donated to Brianda Nunes, Francisco Rodrigues de Elvas' widow, and her sons, Gonçalo Rodrigues de Elvas and Nicolau Nunes de Elvas, the space for them to erect a chapel and family grave in the church of that convent, in exchange for 100 000 réis. Brianda, Gonçalo and Nicolau committed themselves to give the friars, each year, a public debt instrument of 54 000 réis, whose revenues would support the celebration of annual masses for their souls and those of Francisco Rodrigues de Elvas and Belchior Gomes, Brianda and Francisco's son. Thus, they followed the wishes expressed in Francisco and Belchior's wills, who already were buried in the chapter house of the referred convent.
