Deed of sale of half of the fifth part of the administration of the chapel of Guiomar de Teive made by João da Fonseca Botelho and D. Catarina, his wife, to capitão Francisco Soares de Melo, for the price of 210.000 réis, since the seller owed a lot of money to several people in the island. Pedro de Teive Osório, brother of João da Fonseca, renounced to his part in that administration and transferred it to capitão Francisco Soares de Melo, because he was going to embark to serve the king in the mainland.
