Will chart made by António Cardoso and Brásia Rodrigues in which they took their reserved portions and founded an entail with a perpetual obligation of two yearly mass celebrated in All Souls' Day [Dia de Finados], one for each of them, naming their daughter Vitória Cardoso as first administrator and the eldest heir, preferably the male over the female. If Vitória died without heirs, the administration should be transmitted, in order, to their sons Nicolau, or João or Sebastião. António Cardoso left 20.000 réis of his own reserved portion to build the chapel of N. Sra. da Conceição in the convent of São Francisco, in Vila da Praia, as his father, João Cardoso Teles, ordered on his will.

Will made by João Cardoso Teles, in which he ordered, among other dispositions the foundation of an entail, with a perpetual obligation of a weekly mass, celebrated in the chapel of N. Sra. da Conceição, in the convent of S. Francisco in Vila da Praia, Terceira island, where his body should be buried side by side with his deceased father, Sebastião Cardoso. He ordered that the administrator should spend an yearly sum of 400 réis until this chapel was finished. To administrate the entail, he named his son António Cardoso, and his eldest heir, preferably male, after him. If his generation became in anyway extinguished the administration should be given to the Misericórdia of Angra.
