Chapel foundation deed

Chapel foundation deed by which Nuno Álvares, cidadão do Porto, and Maria Dias, his wife, established a chapel in the convent of S. Francisco of Porto, determining that, every year, a certain quantity of wheat (20 alqueires), taken from their farmstead in Santa Maria do Vilar ("quinta do Bailouro"), had to be given to that institution to support perpetual pious obligations for their souls. The chapel, which had been erected near the convent's cloister, would also be used as a mausoleum by the institutors' family. They designated their son-in-law, Diogo Brandão, to administrate it.
