Appointment deed

Appointment deed by which João de Bettencourt Correia resigned the administration of the entails founded by João Afonso and his wife, Inês Lopes, and by his grandparents, António Correia and D. Isabel de Bettencourt, and designated António Correia Bettencourt, his eldest son, as the new administrator, as determined in the institutors' wills. This is also an "encabeçamento" deed of the entailed properties, which consisted of farmlands in Câmara de Lobos and houses in Funchal.
