Petition to the archbishop of Braga by Jorge da Costa da Mesquita, asking for permission to keep the Holy sacrament in the chapel he and his wife instituted in the church of Santo Estêvão of Geraz. In 1631-11-13, the archbishop Rodrigo da Cunha commands Manuel Álvares Pinto to visit the chapel and verify its entailed estates. Finally, in 1632-01-06, the required permission is granted by the archbishop.
