Will chart

Will chart made by padre António Rodrigues Alemão, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel in the mother church of Assumar, where his body should be buried, with a perpetual obligation of 180 masses celebrated every year. He named his brother Francisco Rodrigues as first administrator of the chapel with the condition that he would marry with the eldest daughter of Francisco Gonçalves Alemão, and from there on the succession should continue on their descendants. If Francisco Rodrigues had no children, then the administration would be handled to the eldest male heir of Francisco Gonçalves Alemão. The institutor ordered that an image of S. António should be provided and placed on this chapel, that should be completed by the administrators.
