Will (extract)

Will (extract) by which Leonor Gomes bequeaths her houses to Joana Fernandes, wife of her nephew, Ambrósio de Azevedo, and to their descendants thereafter, with the obligation of four sung masses in the church of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where she wishes to be buried. She bequeaths the houses she inherited from her mother, in Sto. Elói, to Baltazar Martins and his wife, Bárbara Isabel, her niece, and their successors, with the obligation of one mass in the church of Santiago, for the soul of Gonçalo Eanes, with which Leonor Gomes had received it, and another mass for her own soul in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She also bequeaths the houses where she lives to her slaves, Leonor Gomes, Isabel Peregrina or Pequena, and Isabel Congo, with obligations of masses to be fulfilled while they live. When they die, the houses shall be annexed to Leonor Gomes's entail.
