Will (extract) by which Guiomar de Caminha expresses her wish to be buried in the chapel of Nossa Senhora das Mercês in the cloister of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She asks her husband, Damião da Veiga, to order half an annual of masses each year, entailing to it the 8 000 reis of foro of her houses near the calçada de S. Francisco, until he buys more properties to entail.

Will (extract) by which Damião da Veiga expresses his wish to be buried in the chapel of Nossa Senhora das Mercês in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, established by his first wife, Guiomar de Caminha. He adds to this chapel another daily mass for his soul, set in foros and prazos. He appoints as his heir the child he will have with his second wife, D. Joana de Brito, who, at the time, was six months pregnant.

Sentence by which the will of the licenciado Damião da Veiga is judged fulfilled, and the prazos and foros listed are entailed to his chapel in S. Francisco of Lisboa, which shall be administered by his heirs.
