Will

Will through which Margarida Eanes, Gonçalo Pires' widow, bequeaths the third part of her assets, including houses in Lisboa, to Inês Pires, her sister-in-law, instituting the pious obligation of celebrating annual masses for her soul and that of her husband in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Margarida mentions that her husband, before his death, had left those houses to her, asking her to support pious charges for his soul. She declares that her body should be interred inside the grave where lie their grandparents, located next to the chapel of Jesus of that church. Followed by an approval deed, issued on 1546-05-28, and an opening deed, issued on 1546-06-01.
