Tombo (extract)

Tombo (extract) of the chapel established by Luísa Bernardes and Páscoa Soares, by which it is explained they had ordered an obligation of six annual masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they are buried, entailed to houses in Lisboa. António Soares, cura of the church of S. Bartolomeu da Charneca was administrator. Presently, the administrator was Gonçalo da Costa Torres, who claimed to have the will of the institutors, and had fulfilled the obligations until 1676.

Petition by Gonçalo da Costa Torres, administrator of the chapel established by Luísa Bernades and Páscoa Soares, requesting the that his houses be released in exchange for the payment he was owing to the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, to fulfill the obligations of the chapel.
Followed by dispatch dated 1688-03-30; a summary of the remaining court proceedings, in which the will of the institutors was shown and the administrator claimed it wasn't a valid chapel; acordão em relação, dated 1688-11-04 and a dispatch dated 1689-06-04.

Followed by dispatch, dated 1687-08-16, and court proceedings denying his claims.
