Will by which Maria Rodrigues, expresses her wish to be buried in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, with an obligation of a daily mass for her soul. She appoints her husband, António Mendes, and their daughter, Luísa Mendes, as her executors, requesting they establish her chapel by contract with the priests.

Sale, quittance, and obligation deed

Sale, quittance and obligation deed by which António Mendes, executor of his deceased wife, Maria Rodrigues, buys a public debt instrument of 10 000 réis in the Real de Água of Lisboa from Diogo Álvares Ramires, to entail to the obligation of masses established by his wife in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade.
Diogo Álvares Ramires is the administrator of the chapel established by his uncle, Ramiro Álvares, in the church of Anunciada of Lisboa. The public debt instrument he sold was made with money redeemed from another public debt instrument which was entailed to this chapel and to an obligation of a weekly mass for the souls of Diogo's parents: Maria de Cordovil de Sousa and Luís Álvares Ramires.
Contains letters-of-attorney and documentation regarding the acquisition of the public debt instrument by Diogo Álvares Ramires, namely a public debt instrument and two apostilles, a composition deed, an exemplification of a will and a resignation deed.

Bond by which António Mendes, widower of Maria Rodrigues, entails a public debt of 30 000 réis which he previously bought to the obligation of a daily mass established by his wife in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. The priests of the convent accept to pray the masses.
Contains decision by the convent and exemplification of a will.
