Will (extract) by which Maria Fernandes established an entail with houses in in the parish of S. Miguel of Lisboa designating Mécia Fernandes, her criada, to administrate it. She obligated her and her successors to support the celebration of an annual mass on S. Martinho's day in the church of S. Miguel of Alfama and to light a candle every Holy Thursday. At the time of her death, Mécia Fernandes would pass the entail to her eldest son or daughter.
The testator bequeathed houses in that city to Antão de Oliveira, Secretário da Rainha D. Leonor, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of 2 annual masses for her soul in that church. After his death, the entail would be inherited by his son, Manuel de Oliveira, the institutor's godson, and transmitted through his generation.
