Declaration deed

Declaration deed by which Estêvão Franco, mestre pedreiro, in his name and in the name of his wife, Fabiana do Couto declares they had an obligation of paying masses to the convent of Santíssima Trindade entailed to houses in Lisboa, which they sold by mistake to Inácio Ferreira, thinking they were free of charges. They had thus requested the priests to change the payment to other houses nearby, making an extra payment to compensate for the mistake. The priests accepted, were given possession of the payment and the houses sold were judged free.

He entails to this payment the houses he possesses in Lisboa, and promises to fulfil it in his name and the name of his heirs and future owners of the houses.
