Will (extract) by which Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho entails his houses and two engines of sugar in the island of S. Tomé and designates his cousin, D. Simoa Godinho, as his executor and administrator of his entail and chapel. He requests that she builds him a chapel of the evocation of Santo Ambrósio in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade, where he wishes to be buried, with an obligation of a daily mass for his soul and three weekly masses for the soul of his mother, who had requested them in her will.

Contract and bond deed by which António Dias Tinoco buys the chapel of Santo Ambrósio, which formerly belonged to Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho, from the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. The chapel had been seized by the convent for lack of fulfilment of the obligations by its last administrator, Gonçalo Lobo de Mesquita. António Dias Tinoco promises to entail to the chapel a public debt instrument for a daily mass for his soul. The priests of the convent accept and promise to pray the masses.
Followed by the letter of possession of the chapel by António Dias Tinoco.

Contract and bond deed by which Simoa Godinho, widow of doutor Luís de Almeida, executor and heir of her cousin, Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho, receives from the priests of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa the chapel of Santo Ambrósio, according to his will. There had been conflicts between her and the priests regarding the value she ought to pay for the masses and construction of the chapel, after which they had decided she would pay 37 000 reais for the masses and 3 000 for the construction of the chapel, to which she entails the properties left by her cousin. She also declares she had made a contract with Jerónimo de Ruão, mestre pedreiro, to have the chapel built by him, and promises to ornament it and to order the masses for her cousin.

Composition deed between the priests of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa and Filipe de Góis e Vasconcelos, attorney of the nuns of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Socorro of Seville, finishing a conflict between both parts regarding the partitions of certain properties entailed to the chapel of Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho, to which they had a claim as heirs of Ambrósio's wife, D. Beatriz de Léon, through her sister, Joana de La Paz, who had been a nun in that convent.

Carta de arrematação of the chapel established by Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho by the priests of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. The chapel was seized at the request of its last administrator, Gonçalo Lobo de Mesquita, who had never paid the obligations of the chapel since he had inherited it, in 1594.
Contains and mentions processual documentation regarding the diligences made to calculate the debt owed by Gonçalo Lobo de Mesquita, namely dispatches and sentences, and regarding a motion set on the chapel by the nuns of Nossa Senhora do Socorro de Sevilha, about properties which had been inherited by Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho after his wife's death.
