Tombo

Tombo of chapel established by padre Pedro Gomes de Pina, in the mother church of Portimão.
Composed by a will of the institutor, a codicil and an account of the administration.

Account of the administration

Account of the administration issued by Manuel Mascarenhas, provedor e contador da fazenda no Algarve, reporting that 2 000 cruzados had been employed in the chapel institution ordered by licenciado padre Pedro Gomes de Pina, who João Álvares Castiço, administered.
However, 800 000 réis were missing, which the administrator claimed were invested in incomes. Having seen the properties of the chapel, the provedor considers that there were still 15 594 réis to make up the sum of 800 000 réis.
Likewise, he realizes that when João Vaz de Pina, previous administrator, died, some chapel's incomes were divided into shares, which could not be done, ordering them to be restitution.
