Petition by which Nuno de Sousa Coutinho asked to be granted a certificate containing copies of extracts of chancery records in which was indicated that his father, Martinho Afonso de Mariz Coutinho, received the revenues of public debt instruments entailed to João da Fonseca and Margarida de Alcáçova's chapel. Followed by a dispatch issued on 1676-03-23.

Chapel foundation deed

Chapel foundation deed by which João da Fonseca, Fidalgo da Casa do Rei, and Margarida de Alcáçova, his wife, established a chapel in the church of S. Bartolomeu of Lisboa. They designated their son who would inherit the lordship (senhorio) of Ilha das Flores to administrate the entail after the death of his parents, obligating him and his descendants to support the celebration of a daily perpetual mass for their souls in that church, where their bodies would be buried.

Chapel foundation deed

Chapel foundation deed by which Margarida de Alcáçova, João da Fonseca's widow, added clauses to the institution she and her late husband had previously made. She designated her son, Antão da Fonseca, to succeed her in the administration of the entail, determining that he should pass it to his descendants, and appointed Jorge Afonso, her compadre, to become a chaplain. She ordered the entail's future administrator to support the celebration of a sung mass every All Saint's day in her chapel and entailed to it a pension of 10 000 réis.

Certificate issued by Luís da Costa de Lemos, escrivão da Provedoria das Capelas, at the request of Nuno de Sousa Coutinho. Contains a copy of a petition, a dispatch and a certificate issued on 1676-04-28, in which are copied various extracts taken from chancery books concerning the public debt instruments entailed to João da Fonseca and Margarida de Alcáçova's chapel.
