Written request by which the Procurador das Capelas declares that the pious obligations of João Esteves and Margarida Martins' chapel were not being fulfilled for 6 years and that its administrator, Frei Pedro Barriga, did not present any account of its administration. Thus, he asked the Provedor das Capelas to confiscate Pedro's assets, including houses in Lisboa.

Tombo of the chapel established by João Esteves and Margarida Martins, his wife, in the convent of São Domingos of Lisboa, which was administered at the time by Fernando de Óbidos. It was issued at the order of the Provedor-mor dos Hospitais, Capelas, Albergarias e Confrarias.

Petition through which Luís Gonçalves Coutinho da Câmara, administrator of João Esteves and Margarida Martins' chapel, askes the judge to issue a warrant to confiscate lands in Frielas, which belonged to that entail. The tenants which held those lands were in debt to the petitioner, since they did not pay the rents for many years. Followed by an undated dispatch.

Codicil

Codicil by which João Esteves, Contador do Rei, and Margarida Martins, his wife, establish an entail with all their patrimony, instituting the pious obligation of maintaining a chaplain who would celebrate annual masses for their souls in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. They appoint Vasco Lourenço, their criado, to be its first administrator, who should be succeeded by his eldest son.
