Exemplification of an extract of the will of Diogo de Aragão Pereira ordering the foundation of two chapels in the capitania of Baía, each with a weekly mass obligation, for which he entails a farm near his sugar-mill named Engenho de Cima. He named his older son António de Aragão Pereira to be the first administrator of both chapels, and his male heirs after him, and in the absence of heirs, the administration should be given, in order, to his sons Pedro Camelo de Aragão or Diogo de Aragão Pereira.

Extract of the codicil made by Diogo de Aragão Pereira revoking the clause of his will in which he named his elder son António de Aragão Pereira to be administrator of the two chapels he founded, and appointing António de Aragão Pereira to administer one of the chapels and his other son Pedro Camelo de Aragão to administer the second chapel. To the first chapel he entailed some houses and storages [trapiches] in Salvador, and for the second chapel he entailed the income of his farm in Engenho de Cima.
