Will chart

Will chart of Francisco de Freitas, ordering his burial in the monastery of São Francisco of Portimão. He appoints Isabel Rodrigues, his wife, universal heir to all assets, after the legacies are fulfilled, with the charge of masses, celebrated at the altar of São Francisco, in the monastery of Portimão. The administrator had to choose a property to entail to the chapel, with an income of more than 5 000 réis, and choose whoever she wanted to manage it after her death. In addition, she could also establish the charges that she understood and attach them to hers.
It is inserted in an exemplification, with an approval deed (dated 1600-09-23). Follows another exemplification (dated 1604-04-02), with a will chart - changing some provisions of the previous chart, which, however, reiterates (dated 1604-03-25) -, an approval deed (dated 1604-03-25) and a declaration of the institutor, reiterating that, although the previous will chart had been opened, he wanted it to be fulfilled (dated 1604-03-25).

Chapel foundation deed
