Account of the administration

Account of the administration of the chapel established by Manuel Rodrigues, in the mother church of Portimão, administered by licenciado Henrique Martins, the institutor's attorney, taken by Manuel Mascarenhas, provedor and contador na fazenda in Algarve. The institutor was in Santiago dos Cavaleiros, in the province of Guatemala, in the Indies of Castile, for which reason he had commissioned the licenciado Henrique Martins to take care of the institution. He had also appointed the prior of the mother church and the oldest beneficiado, but none of them had accepted the position.
The administrator had received 294 041 réis to provide the chapel, having spent 1 280 réis, leaving 292 771 réis to purchase incomes. As the institution did not determine neither the number of masses to be celebrated, nor what the administrator should receive, he asks the provider to determine it.
The provedor orders a tombo of the assets already purchased.
