Will chart of Maria da Costa, widow of Estêvão Pires de Paiva, bequeathing her available portion to Maria Raposo, her granddaughter, daughter of António da Costa Furtado, with the pious obligation of three perpetual prayed masses, in each year. Her graddaughter will be succeeded by her male son. If she has not offspring, the testator's available portion will be bequeathed to António da Costa Furtado, her son and Maria Raposo's father.
Will approved in 1615-03-17 and opened in 1619-01-09.

The testator declares that her son, António da Costa Furtado, will enjoy the income of her available portion until his daughter, Maria Raposo, gets married (tomar estado). After that, he will give her mother's available portion to his daughter.
