Will (extract) by which Gonçalo de Novais established a chapel in the church of S. Pedro of Alfama, entailing to it all his assets. He designated Luísa, his daughter, to become its first administrator, obligating her and her successors to celebrate 12 annual masses for his soul and for the soul of his late wife, Maria de Carvalho, in the chapel of Fiéis de Deus. The testator appointed Pedro Jorge, his friend, to be the executor of his will and the tutor of his daughter.
