Will by which Cosme Dias gives power to Diogo Soares and his son João Manuel Soares to be able to execute their wills, designating them to be his heirs, last will executors and commissioners. He donates to them the patronages and chaplaincies he owned.

Declaration deed

Declaration deed by which João Manuel Soares and Diogo Soares, his father, declare to be executors, heirs and administrators of Cosme Dias. They give an account of the fulfillment of their wills and legacies. Among them, the institution of a chaplaincy of masses, in the monastery of São Francisco of Seville where he was buried, as well as another in the Hospital of Nossa Senhora da Paz. They also orders the rebuilding of the hermitage of Nossa Senhora das Neves, in Vila Nova de Monsarros, as well as the celebration of perpetual charges. João Manuel Soares would be its patron during his life, succeeding him the closest relative of Cosme Dias and the chaplain of the chapel, who would administer it together. Establishes another chapel for masses, in the convent of São Francisco of Coimbra.
