Annexation deed

Annexation deed of Gonçalo Pinto de Mesquita and D. Paula da Fonseca, his wife, residents in Abaças, entailed the third part of their assets to Beatriz de Mesquita's entail and established that their successor had to do the same thing. Beatriz de Mesquita was present and the three of them approved the entail's institution .

Will (extract) by which Beatriz de Mesquita founded an entail with all her assets, including lands (casal) in Vila Nova, determining that its revenues had to support the celebration of a weekly mass and other masses every Christmas in the church of S. Francisco. The institutor appointed her brother, Gonçalo Pinto de Mesquita, as her universal heir, executor and successor in the entail's administration.
