This chapel was established by Afonso Luís and Bárbara Pires de Figueiroa and is administrated by Sebastião Afonso Lício and Gaspar Luís Figueiroa, his brother.
It is followed by an approval deed made by Gaspar Luís Figueiroa and Margarida Monteiro, his wife, dated 1580-03-19.

Francisco of Lisboa, entailed to houses in the parish of S. Julião. He explains that António Aranha de Araújo's will was taken by his brother, Fr. Afonso de Santa Maria, friar in Penha Longa, after his death, and that it couldn't be found in the convent after Fr. Afonso's death, thus he had never seen it, and only knew its contents, and that the obligations had been kept from 1651 to the previous year of 1672. He also swears that, if he discovers the location of the will, he will notify the juízo dos resíduos.
