Will (extract) by which Luís Gomes de Elvas declared that his body had to be buried in the chapel of his brother, António Gomes, in the convent of S. Bento of Lisboa. He ordered that 5 perpetual daily masses should be celebrated for his soul, asking the executors of his will to buy a public debt instrument to support it. The testator determined that the bones of his father, Duarte Mendes de Elvas, had to be deposited in his grave.
