Letter of quittance passed by Simão Gonçalves, escrivão of the Provedoria of Portalegre, to Belchior Velez de Castelo Branco, reporting on the fulfillment of the charge of 42 annual masses, related to the chapel established by Gaspar Rodrigues Almendro, Francisco Rodrigues Moreira and Fernando Rodrigues, celebrated in the mother church of Arronches.
The register also includes several receipts and account records, relating to the same charges, roughly, between 1678 and 1695.
